Uni-Directional Oscillating Water Column

The WSE unidirectional OWC is a technology that replicates a naturally occurring blowhole. As the water rises inside the OWC, the air is displaced and vented to the atmosphere via one-way valves. As the water level falls, it draws air past a rotating turbine that is coupled to a generator that creates electricity.
